Hotels in Nice

Arriving on the Cote D’Azur, Nice will probably be your first point of call.  Nice is a large city and often referred to as the Queen of the Riviera.  It has hundreds of hotels and restaurants and you can find accommodation to suit all budgets in Nice.

Like many large cities, the hotels near the seafront and especially along the Promenade des Anglais tend to be the more expensive (but not always the best value for money).  Hotels situated near the station tend to be cheaper and often quite small.  The pedestrian area along Rue de France and the roads leading off Rue de France tends to be a good starting place to find a reasonable priced and comfortable hotel.

There are hundreds of hotels in Nice with the most famous being The Negresco. Other well located and less expensive hotels includeTheNice Riviera which has an indoor pool, The Armenonville hotel with it’s large garden, the De La Fountaine Hotel which is a short walk from the bars and restaurants, and the Hotel Windsor with it’s garden and pool. The rooms of the Windsor hotel have been decorated by contemporary artists. There are even Tintin posters on the walls and a lift in the style of a rocket ship with a countdown to lift off!   The seafront hotels can be expensive with some being far better for money than others.
